The Volunteer Service Council (VSC) of SASH is a 501 (c) 3 non profit organization whose mission is to improve the quality of life and support the rehabilitation and recreational needs of patients not funded through traditional government sources. Erasing Stigma, Changing Minds - Introduction to Schizophrenia

One in every four Americans has been diagnosed with a mental illness. Often the stigma attached to mental illness makes it challenging for those who need help to seek it. The San Antonio State Hospital and the Volunteer Services Council of the San Antonio State Hospital is hosting a monthly mental health community education series, “Erasing Stigma – Changing Minds” Our speakers have graciously agreed to provide these presentations at no charge to you or the sponsoring organizations.
