Bristol Palin On "Duck Dynasty" Flap: Gay Activists "Hypocritical"
Thursday, December 26, 2013
(Undated) -- Bristol Palin is following in her mom's footsteps and speaking out on the "Duck Dynasty" controversy. In a blog post, the daughter of former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin calls gay activists "hypocritical" for expecting everyone to agree with their lifestyle. Bristol, who found herself at the center of controversy for using gay slurs in a 2010 Facebook post, says while the LGBT community says it's all about "love" and "equality," if you don't agree with their lifestyle, "they spread the most hate." Palin's mom, Sarah Palin, was among the first to speak out in defense of the "Duck Dynasty" clan after A&E suspended family patriarch Phil Robertson last week over recent anti-gay comments. She said "Free speech is an endangered species."
