Two Secret Service Agents Removed From Obama Detail

(Washington, DC) -- Two Secret Service agents are under investigation for alleged misconduct and have been removed from President Obama's security detail. The "Washington Post" identifies the pair as Ignacio Zamora Jr and Timothy Barraclough. The probe was launched after an incident at the Hay-Adams hotel near the White House in May. It involved Zamora who allegedly attempted to reenter a woman's room after leaving behind a bullet from his service weapon. In the follow-up investigation, officials say they found that Zamora and Barraclough had sent sexually suggestive emails to a female subordinate.
The investigation follows the Secret Service scandal last year, involving prostitution and drinking before a presidential trip to Cartagena, Colombia.
