(New York, NY) -- Suspended New York Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez is dropping the last of three lawsuits filed last year following his season-long drug suspension by Major League Baseball. "A-Rod" had filed a medical malpractice suit against team doctor Christopher Ahmad and New York Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center. The 38-year-old slugger had claimed his hip injury during the 2012 postseason was not properly diagnosed. Rodriguez previously dropped lawsuits against MLB, commissioner Bud Selig and the Players' Association earlier this year.
