(Irving, TX) -- Rumors are swirling about Tony Romo's status for Sunday's winner-take-all game against the Eagles. ESPN reported yesterday afternoon Romo was out due to a herniated disc in his back. CBS Sports had a similar story, but head coach Jason Garrett would only confirm Romo was day-to-day with a back injury. The Cowboys do plan to sign another quarterback. Romo's backup is Kyle Orton, who hasn't started a game since 2011.
