Autopsy Shows Gunman Killed By Officer

(Las Vegas, NV) -- An autopsy reveals that Nevada gunman Jared Miller was shot and killed by Las Vegas police officers. Early reports were that Miller was shot by his wife, but Las Vegas Metro Police say an earlier gunshot wound from officers was the cause of death. Metro Assistant Sheriff Kevin McMahill says detectives had talked to the Millers and never thought they were a threat.
During a press conference on Wednesday, McMahill showed surveillance video of the Millers hiding behind merchandise in a Walmart aisle towards the end of their shooting spree. Officers are still trying to determine where they got the weapons from. They say they weren't registered in the state of Nevada but don't believe they were stolen.
