(Washington, DC) -- There's not much to look at for this year's National Cherry Blossom Festival. The festival started last week in Washington D.C. Tourists have started coming to the area, only to find the buds haven't flowered around the Tidal Basin in their annual, magical pink display. The National Park Service says they won't peak until April 8th. Forecasters are also predicting another blast of winter weather over the next couple of days and it's not yet known how that will affect the blooms.
