Chief Of Staff: Obama Angry About V.A. Allegations

(Washington, DC) -- A top White House official says President Obama is outraged over the Veterans Affairs scandal. Chief of staff Denis McDonough told CBS' "Face The Nation" the president wants waiting-list allegations investigated and handled immediately. There are reports that at least 40 veterans died while waiting to see doctors at the VA medical center in Phoenix. On NBC's "Meet the Press," Congressman Adam Kinzinger of Illinois said appointment backlogs have existed at the VA for years, adding he believes VA Secretary Eric Shinseki should resign.
