Commissioner Silver Wants To See Clippers Sold

(New York, NY) -- After banning Clippers owner Donald Sterling for life, NBA Commissioner Adam Silver says he wants to see the team sold.
Silver's comments came during a press conference to announce punishment against Sterling, who was caught on tape making racially-charged statements that were leaked to the media. Silver says the league conducted a comprehensive investigation, including an interview with Sterling, who confirmed it was his voice on the tape. Sterling was also fined two-and-a-half-million-dollars, which Silver says will be donated to organizations dedicated to anti-discrimination causes.
NBA Commissioner Adam Silver says Sterling is also facing monetary punishment in addition to a lifetime ban.
