(San Antonio, TX) -- Dallas-based developer Alamo Manhattan is abandoning a controversial apartment project in Alamo Heights. They say they're terminating the contract for a proposed 30-million-dollar apartment project at Broadway and Austin Highway. Alamo representatives say the project no longer made business sense after the city imposed newer and tougher construction guidelines. The project met resistance from critics who said it didn't fit in the city's comprehensive plan and would disrupt traffic patterns.
