(Undated) -- Late "Glee" star Cory Monteith is one of the famous faces who was left out of the "In Memorium" segment at the Oscars Sunday night. The actor was noticeably absent from the photo montage that played during Bette Midler's performance of "The Wind Beneath My Wings." Cory died last August from a toxic mix of heroin and alcohol. Some fans have been reacting to his absence on Twitter. While the actor was best known for playing Finn Hudson on "Glee," he did also have several movie credits like "Final Destination 3" and "Monte Carlo."
Also missing from the segment were late "Fresh Prince of Bel Air" actor James Avery, "Law & Order's" Dennis Farina and novelist Tom Clancy. The Academy has been criticized in past years for its "In Memorium" segments, for leaving out stars like Jeff Conaway, Farrah Fawcett and George Carlin.
