(San Antonio, TX) -- The Bexar County District Attorney is trying to block the early release of a former nurse convicted in a baby killing. Genene Jones could see early release in four years because of a law aimed to ease overcrowding in prisons. She was convicted in 1984 in the death of a 15-month-old child while working at University Hospital's pediatric intensive care unit. County D-A Susan Reed says Jones should stay behind bars for the rest of her life.
