Deal Pulls Ukraine Back From The Brink

(Kiev) -- Tensions are still high, but there have been no reports of violence today in Kiev. This, after embattled Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovich signed an agreement Friday that calls for early elections in an effort to stop the clashes between protesters and riot police that have killed dozens this week. But that was yesterday and so far today there's been no sign of Yanukovich. A top opposition leader says the president has left Kiev and his whereabouts are not known.
The Obama administration continues to keep a close eye on the situation and has warned that swift action on sanctions could happen if there is further bloodshed.
