Ebola Takes Toll On Doctors

(Boone, NC) -- Two health care workers from North Carolina's Samaritan's Purse are being treated in West Africa after testing positive for Ebola. The region is experiencing the worst outbreak of the deadly virus on record. Some 660 people of the eleven-hundred who have been infected in Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea have died, including two African doctors. Samaritan's Purse says Doctor Kent Brantley of Texas is undergoing treatment, and Nancy Writebol of North Carolina also tested positive.
