(St. Paul, MN) -- The FAA is pulling the plug on drone beer delivery for Minnesota ice fishermen. The FAA advised Lakemaid Beers that drones are not cleared for use by small businesses. The action comes after the beer company posted video of a drone delivering a 12-pack on Lake Waconia last week. Lakemaid president Jack Supple admits he got the idea from Amazon. He had planned to use drones to make beer runs to popular ice fishing lakes in Minnesota and Wisconsin.
