(Austin, TX) -- Former President George W. Bush is praising Lyndon Johnson for his work on education reform. Bush told the Civil Rights summit in Austin on Thursday LBJ's Higher Education Act of 1965 has helped lower the disparity in education between whites and blacks. Bush doesn't think the reforms have been enough and hopes more will be done in the national school accountability movement. Bush was the fourth president to speak this week at the summit marking the 50th anniversary of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
