(Cambridge, MD) -- House Democrats are launching a Valentine's Day campaign aimed at improving life for women in America. At the House Dems' annual retreat in Maryland, Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi said key issues include pay equity for women, a boost in the minimum wage and affordable childcare. She added -- "When women succeed, America succeeds." Pelosi noted that the campaign is an important pillar of the Democrats' economic agenda. Weather permitting, President Obama is scheduled to address the Democratic retreat today. Vice President Biden was supposed to speak yesterday but his appearance was cancelled due to the big snowstorm that socked the East.
