(Washington, DC) -- A House Republican task force is rolling out a one-point-five-billion dollar plan to deal with the border crisis. The "Washington Times" reports the plan calls for deploying the National Guard to assist in achieving "operational control" of the border. Meanwhile, Texas Governor Rick Perry says he can't dwell on President Obama's hesitancy to act on the border crisis. Perry announced earlier this week his plan to send one-thousand National Guard troops to the border to assist Border Patrol agents. He says 70-percent of Border Patrol agents are being taken away from protecting the border to deal with the influx of migrant children.
