Jay Leno "Tonight Show" Staff Laid Off

(Burbank, CA) -- Pink slips are flying for Jay Leno's "Tonight Show" staff. TheWrap.com says NBCUniversal is laying off 164 employees in Burbank, California as the late night show makes its way back to New York where Jimmy Fallon will take over as "Tonight's" new host. Jay Leno will exit "The Tonight Show" next Thursday, February 6th with final guest Billy Crystal, who was Leno's first guest when he took over the "Tonight Show" in 1992. Fallon will begin his "Tonight Show" run on February 17th with guests Will Smith and U2.
