(Washington, DC) -- Secretary of State John Kerry says this is not the time to debate about the security crisis in Iraq.
Speaking at a press conference with New Zealand's Prime Minister on Thursday, Kerry said it's time to ensure that Iraq gets the help that's needed to break the momentum of extremists groups. He said helping Iraq is in the best interest of our national security as well as the security interests of our allies. Kerry said he will travel to Europe and the Middle East next week to discuss the growing militant threat in Iraq.
