(Lansing, MI) -- The lowest-paid workers in Michigan will get a little more starting today. Minimum wage is going up from seven-dollars-40-cents an hour to eight-15. The wage will be increased again on January 1st of 2016, 2017 and 2018 until hitting nine-25 an hour in 2018. Those who are 16 and 17 can still be paid 85-percent of the minimum wage.
