(New York, NY) -- The NBA is coming down hard on embattled Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling. NBA Commissioner Adam Silver announced Tuesday that Sterling is banned for life from the NBA and the Clippers organization. Sterling was also fined two-point-five-million dollars. Silver said he wants the NBA's Board of Governors to force Sterling to sell the team. Sterling's problems boiled to the surface over the weekend after TMZ posted a racially-charged recording of him speaking with his girlfriend V. Stiviano.
