(Washington, DC) -- Enrollment in HealthCare.gov has hit the five-million mark. The Department of Health and Human Services cites a "weekend wave" of signups for the new health insurances exchanges and calls the new figure a milestone. Last week, the Obama administration reported four-point-two million signups by the end of February. The administration hopes to hit six-million by March 31st, the deadline for signups. The six-million figure was downsized from an original goal of seven-million. HealthCare.gov has performed much better since its disastrous launch in October.
