(New York, NY) -- Some Major League Baseball players want to boot suspended Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez out of the Players' Association. Yahoo! Sports reports some 40 players voiced their position on a conference call last week after "A-Rod" sued MLB and the union over the handling of his arbitration hearing. Union officials say they cannot legally expel Rodriguez. An arbitrator suspended the three-time American League MVP for the entire 2014 season for his alleged ties to the Biogenesis scandal involving performance-enhancing drugs.
