Rob Ford Comes To Justin Bieber's Defense
Sunday, February 2, 2014
(Undated) -- Toronto mayor Rob Ford is jumping to the defense of Justin Bieber. During an interview with Washington D.C. radio show "The Sports Junkies" on 106.7, the disgraced mayor had some words of support for the young pop star who is coming off of multiple brushes with the law in the past month. Apparently Ford, who publicly admitted to smoking crack last year, didn't respond well to the show's host referring to Bieber as "Canada's worst export." The politician reminded listeners that Justin is "a young guy" and asked them to "think back to when [they] were 19." He said he wishes he could have been "as successful" as Bieber when he was his age. But that doesn't mean Ford is a full-fledged "Belieber." The mayor was sure to add that he doesn't "really follow [Justin's] music."
