Scarlett Johansson Leaves International Rights Group

(Jerusalem) -- Actress Scarlett Johansson is leaving Oxfam because of a flap over soda pop. The international human rights group doesn't like Johansson's decision to appear in a Super Bowl commercial for SodaStream because the company runs a factory in the occupied West Bank. Oxfam says the business contributes to furthering poverty and denying rights to the Palestinian community. SodaStream employs both Israeli and Palestinian workers and says the factory is a model of peaceful cooperation.
