(San Antonio, TX) -- Alamo College is implementing a controversial curriculum change next fall. They're dropping a humanities course requirement and replacing it with a course focusing on leadership strategies. They'll include those outlined in the "7 Habits of Highly Effective People" book by Stephen Covey. Administrators pushed for the change despite disapproval from some faculty members. It was approved yesterday by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board.
