White House Talks About Response To Ebola Outbreak
(Washington, DC) -- The White House says the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is working with other global health organizations to respond to the deadly Ebola outbreak in West Africa. Presidential spokesman Josh Earnest said Tuesday that CDC officials are redoubling their efforts to stem the outbreak that's killed than 800 people. American aid worker Nancy Writebol is being treated for an Ebola infection at Atlanta's Emory University Hospital. Writebol arrived in Georgia Tuesday on a medical flight from Liberia.
