(Undated) -- About one in 20 adults leave emergency rooms or community health clinics with a wrong diagnosis. A new study shows those mistakes could affect as many as 12-million people every year. Researchers estimate about six-million misdiagnoses could cause harm to patients. The study revealed that people with conditions including anemia, pneumonia, heart failure and lung cancer could have problems that doctors miss. The study was published Wednesday in the journal "BMJ Quality and Safety."
