It was one of those weeks. I looked at the list of set aside articles this morning and it is lo-o-o-o-o-o-ng. So we are just going to dive right in.
Let’s start with the wonderful world of A.I….
Even profs are using it to cheat.
Intelligence is usually difficult to persuade. Apparently artificial intelligence is not.
“Right turn Clyde.” (If you don’t get the reference there – you missed a very funny movie.)
Elsewhere…
Justice? Not like this.
Superheroes started as masked vigilantes fighting street crime. Then along came “powers.” There has been a long debate about whether superheroes created the demand for supervillains or vice versa. For some reason I thought about that when I read this. Sadly, like the chicken-and-egg question, it may never be answered.
A status I never thought I would achieve.
And, then there is California…
I wish I felt about leaving California like this person felt about leaving her native U.K. But when she said, “Being away from home confirmed what years of writing about my generation and our unhappiness had been telling me, that what we need most is belonging,” I thought “Yeah, and I don’t belong in California.” That’s something those remaining in California might want to consider.
California never found anything they could not tax.
The streets are lined with the homeless, but apparently they can’t live in boats.
Jobs are leaving the state at a breakneck pace. So California makes it even harder to be in business there.
Of course he might. After all, California is all Kumbaya, unless you are conservative.
I really wish people understood California is not principled, it is corrupt. Corruption here, corruption there, corruption everywhere.
Yes, yes it is – and for far more reasons than just mosquitos.
…Told you it was a long list. Now, college football Saturday in the offing.
