"It Is Well With My Soul" is a famous hymn sung for the last 100 years in churches around the world. Horatio Spafford wrote the song while traveling to Europe by boat and crossed the exact spot where earlier his entire family except for his wife died in a crazy boat crash. The song represents the peace of Jesus that surpasses all understanding however, the life of Horatio continued and it led to some pretty strange beliefs and ideals.

Join the congregation of First Presbyterian Church of Perkasie Pennsylvania as we worship the Lord by his Word and Spirit. We sing the great hymns of the Christian faith using the "Sing to the Lord Hymnal" in our pews. Our special guest speaker is Rev. Robert A. Minnig, who serves as the advisor to the session of First Church. His sermon for this Sunday is, "Many Convincing Proofs," from 1 Corinthians 15:1-8. Mr. Joseph Waggoner, Ruling Elder, assists in the worship service. Pastor MacLaren is on vacation and plans to return to the pulpit on June 1.
