With 30 years as a Registered Nurse, Laura holds impressive credentials including Clinical Case Manager, Board Certified Patient Advocate, and Certified Dementia Practitioner. Her extensive background in managed care, geriatric care, and patient advocacy in hospitals and various care settings has given her unique insight into the needs of older adults and the intricacies of care transitions.
Laura's personal inspiration came from her experience advocating for someone very dear to her – Judith. Through guiding Judith through multiple hospitalizations, rehabilitation stays, and ultimately finding her a wonderful assisted living community where she thrived, Laura discovered her true calling. "There is no better way to say 'I understand this process' than to have gone through it myself, assisting someone I loved," Laura reflects.
